Toolkit "Playing Cards"

As a Design Associate, I'd often use reframing exercises to help teams reconnect with the problem they were trying to solve and determine next steps. I managed numerous teams and saw many able to be resolved by using various exercises, so the other Associates and I created the Toolkit.

Mission:

Help social entrepreneurship startups efficiently think through their goal and refine concepts as they progress.

Use cases:

Exposure to exercises (initial use) - to build familiarity with mindsets with teams

Growing familiarity with exercises (engaged with Associates) - Associates recommend exercises suitable at different stages of the design process

Common use (later stages): openly explore as a team or independently to further refine outcomes

Physical prototypes:
Feedback loop:

Users need easy access to reframing exercises as they work on their projects.

Users scan QR on the wooden card

User conducts own design thinking exercise with team

User leaves feedback on feedback form available on website, to be incorporated in future iterations

User identifies ways website can increase team engagement during design exercise with team
